Does Developer Reputation Matters when buying a condo?
In Singapore, it is extremely rare to hear of a developer going bust while in the midst of building a development. The reason being that developers have to go through stringent checks by the government before they are allowed to even build anything.

Does District- CCR RCR OCR matters when selecting a condo?
Singapore is classified into 3 areas, CCR- core central region, RCR- rest of central region & OCR- outside central region. In the past, we used to talk about districts. There is district 1 to 28, with district 9, 10, and 11 being amongst the most prestigious.
The more commonly used classification method currently used by government bodies is CCR, RCR and OCR. The CCR is mainly made up of districts 9, 10 and 11 or areas like Orchard Road, Newton and Novena etc. Sentosa and districts 1 and 2 are also part of the CCR. The RCR points to places that are close to the city area or city fringes like Queenstown, Farrer Road etc. As for the OCR, it comprises of any area not in the 2 abovementioned regions.
